Hello and welcome to Eco Edition – Design inspiration and resources for homeowners who want to create their own sustainable and healthy home

I’m Nadine Samwell – A passionate interior designer (obsessed with sustainable and healthy materials), serial home renovator, founder and editor of Eco Edition, course creator and sustainable materials consultant.

Founded during the first Covid lockdown in 2020 as a passion project (and a way to keep sane while home-schooling my son), I launched Eco Edition to help homeowners create their own sustainable and healthy home. It quickly gained momentum and garnered a following with homeowners and the design industry alike.

With over 15 years experience as an interior designer and a renovator for over 20 years, I know how confusing and stressful it can be when you’re doing a renovation or a new build. There are so many things to consider and so many decisions to make, and if you also want your home to be sustainable – you can reach total overwhelm pretty quickly.

Eco Edition exists to help cut through the confusion, to help you to be confident to create the home of your dreams. Through my blog, I’ll bring you stories full of stunning photos and handy tips to help you get started on your journey of creating your own comfortable, sustainable and healthy home – whatever that looks like for you.

After launching Eco Edition, homeowners from around the world started asking me for help. Many were asking for help with choosing materials which suited their sustainability goals without sacrificing style or budget. Pretty soon, I was flooded with work and struggled to manage both Eco Edition and my work with private clients. I just couldn’t keep up. I loved every minute of it, but I was working almost every day of the week to keep up with the demand. I needed to find a better way to be able to help everyone. And so, Eco Edition Design School was born!
