The recently released Baux Acoustic Pulp acoustic panels are made from 100% bio-based materials. Aside from providing great acoustic performance the panels are also 100% recyclable, 100% biodegradable and the colours where made from non-GMO wheat bran.
Designed by Swedish industrial design studio Form Us With Love, the patterns were inspired by folded paper techniques and the material utilises technology typically used for aircrafts and spaceships. The panel’s surface is nano-perforated using a laser technique which allows sound waves to enter and get trapped in the honeycomb chambers on the rear side.
Sustainability specs:
– 100% bio-based materials
– 100% recyclable
– 100% biodegradable
– Colours made using non-GMO wheat bran
– Fire retardant
– Water resistant
