I’m Nadine Samwell and I’m an interior designer, serial renovator and founder of the Eco Edition Design School.
I’ve been an interior designer for over 15 years and a renovator for over 20 years. In my professional career I’ve worked across a huge range of projects, many of which were sustainability accredited projects. I’ve woven this extensive knowledge into each lesson.
As a renovator I’ve learnt through hands on experience all the ins and outs of creating a gorgeous home. I understand what homeowners want – the tools, guides and above all else the SIMPLICITY – to help create the perfect project.
I’m a Healthy Materials Advocate after undertaking studies in Healthier Materials and Sustainable Buildings.
I’m also the founder and editor of Eco Edition, an online design resource which solely focusses on sustainable homes, as well as how-to guides, materials, furniture, furnishings and loads more. I’ve researched, interviewed and written about countless projects and materials and I’ve learnt from some of the best sustainable architects, building designers and interior designers in the business.
Also, I live and breath the sustainability lifestyle. In my home, my family and I conserve water and electricity, we grow our own veggies on our inner city block, buy second hand when we can, only have 1 car, compost everything and have managed to reduce our landfill waste down to one very small bag every week.
